ALL-ON-4

WHAT IS ALL-ON-4?

The term ‘ALL ON 4’ refers to the placement of all teeth on four strategically placed dental implants, which support them. The implants are placed so that the bone is supported and will grow around the implants, securing them in place.

WHY CHOOSE ALL-ON-4?

ALL ON 4 is a great option for patients who have lost multiple, or potentially all, of their teeth and are unhappy with gaps or dentures. Patients who have suffered ill-fitting dentures, or mobile, failing teeth can have confidence restored with stable, natural-looking teeth.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE TREATMENT?

Treatment is carried out in two phases. The initial phase provides the patient with a high-quality temporary bridge, which is then replaced following both healing and remodelling of soft tissues. Treatment involves a three-dimensional imaging (Cone Beam CT scan) of the treatment area. In phase two, placement of the final implant bridges is completed.

COSTS AND APPOINTMENTS

The average cost per jaw is around $25000. Depending on the individual needs of each patient, the procedure may be completed between 2-6 appointments.

ASK YOUR INEEDA DENTIST

How do implants and ALL ON 4 differ from other solutions? Try to understand the advantages of dental implants and other solutions such as dentures or bridges. Your dentist should mention bone loss, convenience and function when discussing these options.

What is your experience with placing implants or ALL ON 4? Any general dentist is legally able to place an implant, so ensure that your dentist has the proper training, experience and success.

What kind of materials are you going to use? It is important that the materials are sturdy enough to last as a permanent solution and will be compatible with your body.

Please note that there may be risks associated with both general and local anaesthetic but complications are rare.
